My Maths this term

Kia ora whanau and today, I am going to share my maths work you and what I have been learning this term.

I have been learning about decimals. I have been putting these random decimals from smallest to biggest. For example: 7.7, 8.4, 2.6, 1.9, 5.7, 6.7,  4.9. It was hard to figure the numbers out but I give it a medium.

Next thing I have been doing is I have been putting numbers in the right place in the numbers value chart. Example: 129386. I have been learning to put big numbers in a expanded form. Example: 13928

1. H         T       O       T        H       TH               10000+3000+900+20 8 =   13928

      1             2          9          3            8             6

You can learn from these too. These are easy as so you will be able to get it. Hope you have a wonderful day guys. Ka kite ano

  1. Kia Ora Mikhanya,
Thanks for showing us what you are working on in math. Decimals can be tricky but you're getting the hang of it. Ka pai. Place value is also really useful. I always have to check my math to see if I make mistakes. It seems like it takes more time but its worth it! Keep up the good work!
