Halswell Quarry 2020

Halswell Quarry

When I heard that there was another trip to halswell quarry,
I started to moan because last year it was tiring but at least we found all of them.
We had to go quickly because there wasn’t much time left. When we got on the bus,
it took about half an hour or something. When we got there, we all sat down on the area we
all are supposed to be on and the teachers talked to us for some information about the big
long walk we were about to be doing. We began with groups, I went with Mrs Jones and
Miss Mclelland. We got started and headed off!! The first round was easy but really long!
We had to go up to number 14 from number 1. While we were walking, we found a number
and behind it (kinda) was a dirty canoe. At the end, we had morning tea. The second round
was medium than the first one. I never enjoyed it because it was worse than round 1. When
we were in the middle of it, we found a big giant field in the middle of halswell quarry. It was
so big that it could almost fit lots of people from New Zealand. We finished, We had lunch and
Me and my friends were talking about the last round. Some of my friends didn’t come last year
so they didn’t know what was going to happen next but I did. At the end, we had to walk up this
BIG hill and the last round wasn’t easy. When we reached the end, we figured out that we didn’t
get all the numbers. We went back to school tired and went home.
